Nestled in the heart of wine country, on the historic grounds of the McLaren Vale Hospital, we saw an opportunity to revitalise a treasured local space through creativity and shared experience. That’s where The Stables, our newest painting experience, comes in.We’re not a traditional art school. We’re a grassroots, community-driven initiative, and many of our team members come from a diverse range of professional backgrounds, including health, arts, education, and mental wellness. Together, we’ve facilitated creative workshops for hundreds of locals and visitors alike. Whether it’s your first time holding a paintbrush or you're rediscovering a long-lost love of art, we’re here to guide and encourage you.What sets us apart? We believe in the experience of making art, not perfection. Our sessions are relaxed, inclusive, and always filled with laughter (and snacks!).
