Book in for a bunch of friends or a group of colleagues to enjoy a few hours with clay on your hands and a smile on your faces at this ceramic slipcasting workshop in Melbourne.
R L Foote Design Studio welcomes you into this light-filled creative concept studio, where a passionate expert Ryan Foote and his skilled team will teach you how to pour, de-mould and clean up your own slipcast ceramics before hand-applying a special finish to your pieces using varying techniques.
Slipcasting is a method of making ceramics with a liquid clay body which is poured into a plaster mould and allowed to form a layer on the inside walls of the mould before emptying the remaining slip and de-moulding once dry.
Once you get in touch with us about a group booking, you can choose which finishing technique you will cover in your workshop to decorate your pieces! The experience will be completely customised for your group, including the option to have food and drinks included either during or after your ceramic class!
Please note: You will be able to pick up your pieces in the following two weeks after your workshop once it has been fired.
