The instructor was so lovely - and taught at a good pace - not too slow but not too fast. The studio is also net 0 (working on solar etc) ans thats amazing for two kilns running! We havent got out pieces back yet, but whether they work out of not, the process of working with your hands for 2 hours un-rushed was an awesome process. 10/10 would recommend and do again!

Our teacher Taylor put us at ease and was very patient as we got a grasp on the basic techniques. Such an enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

Our teacher led us through different techniques of how to make mugs, bowls and pots, with varying additions and decorations, all with a lot of laughter and fun. We all had an excellent time, and walked away talking about how we'd like to go back and attend another class. I couldn't recommend Deep Blue Ceramics enough, from the helpful and straightforward booking process, to the quality of materials and class itself on the day. Thank you!

We had a fantastic time learning the basics of wheel throwing with Taylor who instructed us through the basics, then patiently and thoughtfully guided us to create five pieces for firing in the kiln.

All the girls left the class having at least one item made on the wheel. Nurdan was a fantastic teacher and helped us to fix all our wobbly pots! I am definitely considering coming back for the 5 week beginners wheel throwing class.

I've done serveral classes with Deep Blue Ceramics, however it was my husbands first. He was nervous at first, but once he started, he relaxed in and really enjoyed the experience. Nurdan is an exceptional teacher as well. She explained everything in a way that had my husband throwing a vessel on his second try. I'll never not recommend Deep Blue Ceramics to anyone even a little curious about pottery.

All the materials were provided and we got to make about 4 items each which she will put in the kiln. It was great value for money. We learned so much about how to make pottery and our items looked really good. Her communication was fantastic.

We paid for a 3hour workshop but driving setting up and packing up takes time and she was so generous accommodating our request. She was welcoming and supportive so our team members didn’t have any inhibitions asking for advice and taking guidance to crating incredible pieces of art to cherish for the rest of their life.
