About Me
I am an award-winning visual artist specialising in contemporary photo collages, with a deep passion for keeping people creative and connected through art. Alongside my studio practice, I facilitate engaging, hands-on creative workshops that invite participants to explore texture, imagery, and storytelling.
My Creative Practice & Residencies
My artistic journey blends photography and intensive collages. As part of my upcoming artist residencies, I am expanding my workshop offerings to take communities on a creative journey using my collage materials.
During these residencies, I run immersive collage workshops, on top of photographing the environment and creating new collaborative artworks.
Community Engagement
Community is at the heart of everything I do. I currently run regular creative workshops through: The Locals, a Scarborough-based creative group based in the Stirling Women's Shed.
Whether working with adults or children, my goal is to break down the intimidation of the blank page and foster a welcoming, playful environment where everyone feels like a creative.
Working with Children
I especially love working with children (and have my WWC card) because they are natural creative masters. They dive into the process fearlessly, intuitively, and with a sense of pure fun that constantly inspires my own practice.
"Art isn't just about the final product; it's about the joy of discovery, play, and connecting through making."
