Level up your charcuterie with your own DIY resin cheeseboard, which you can make in this fun resin board workshop with Shannan!
In this beginner-friendly class, you will learn how to use resin art to decorate an Acacia Cheeseboard along with two coasters to make a stunning matching set. Work with gorgeous colours, patterns and shapes to personalise your own unique design.
We'll begin with a demonstration of the resin process before moving on to hands-on practice making your own resin cheeseboard. Our expert resin artist can assist you with choosing colours and the mixing and pouring techniques, so don't worry if you have never tried resin art before!

Please Note: Cancellation is not available, you can reschedule up to 3 days prior to your class. Free cancellation is not available as our workshops are booked out weeks in advance and we only have 4-8 spots per class. As a small business it is very difficult to manage cancellations and rescheduling so please understand if as much notice is given as possible it may be possible for us to fill a spot but it is impossible to do so last minute.
Important: You will need to leave your resin pieces behind as they will need to be cured for 24-36 hours after the class. All artwork is cleaned up on the following Monday and collection can be arranged after this day.
Resin pick up notice: customer finished pieces that are not picked up within 3 months will be donated to charity. You can request to post your piece by choosing the relevant add-on at the payment page.

  • Resin is a two part chemical with strong fumes, Due to potential health dangers all workshop participants are supplied with gloves, aprons and instruction on how to safely heat and manipulate the resin. Correct and safe use of heat torches (up to 600 degree) and butane burners (open flame).

Please note:
This class requires at least four students to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of students, we'll cancel the class and fully refund you and inform you via email, so please watch your email a few days prior to the class.
Due to the safety precautions, this workshop is not recommended for pregnant women and any participants under 12 years of age. All Parents & guardians must sign a waiver for any child participating.
Anyone entering the resin studio must be wearing PPE and in turn be registered and booked into the workshop.
A full demonstration of your project will explain the products, project and methodology by your teacher before you start your own masterpiece. The working time of resin is 30-40 minutes before the curing process starts, so working quickly and following instructions is required. Class time is 1.5 - 2 hours and may fluctuate depending on class size and time taken to choose colours etc.

My artistic focus includes custom portraits in pastels and contemporary pieces in oils, with a particular passion for equine art that reflects my lifelong love for animals, especially horses. This development of my unique style has added depth to my portfolio of commissioned works.
