Chihiro-san was a wonderful sensei. She knows a lot about ikebana having studied it for many years. She chose some beautiful flowers and greenery for the ikebana. She also went to the effort of having some amazing Japanese sweets to accompany the Japanese tea. She provided a history of the art of ikebana, and also photocopied some information for you to take away and read at your leisure. I would definitely want to go back and learn more! ありがとうございました 先生!

Such a great class, learnt so much and had a lot of fun. I’m now super inspired to do more of this at home and would love to do another class with Chihiro! Very knowledgeable teacher and lovely group of people. Highly recommended!

We had a private class with Chihiro and had a great time. The pace was perfect, the location beautiful and the vibe was excellent (Jeremy is so welcoming and cheerful). Not to mention the delicious and gorgeous cupcake with endless tea.
We all walked away with unique floral arrangements using a 'freestyle' technique. The only improvement would be if we had the chance to also make a 'traditional' style arrangement as well.
Thank you both for the wonderful experience.

Chihiro is a very experienced and talent teacher. She was attentive and gave us lots of information from the history of Ikebana to the different schools of Ikebana. The whole class felt meditative and very calming. This is a great art form and I am intrigued and addicted.

The space was really great and inviting. Its in a lovely old building and full of charm and character. I also had the snacks, the cupcake was divine and we have lovely Japanese tea throughout.

What a perfect way to spend the evening Thank you Chihiro and Jeremy.

Jeremy was his charming welcoming self.
All materials were supplied and the class took place in the light well set up front room of Jeremy's clothing shop, a converted old style Shenton Park shop.
Chihiro was very informative about the art of Ikebana and was very patient and encouraging, making it fun to experiment and take risks when we set about developing our own arrangements. I feel I learnt a lot and found it a most enjoyable afternoon.
Thanks to you both.

We spent a lovely winter's afternoon playing with flowers in an amazing, gracious, period Australian space, surrounded by incredible pre-loved clothes.
Chihiro was warm, knowledgeable and very encouraging. Jeremy was his usual hospitable, crazy self.
Each student went home with a unique flower arrangement and the inspiration and knowledge to make a start on a very different and creative pursuit.
Most of all we felt welcomed and gently guided into a very Japanese experience of balance, tranquillity and beauty.

Lovely venue in Jeremy's pre-loved clothes shop. Chihiro was a friendly and encouraging teacher. A gentle introduction to an art form that takes 7 years to study formally!

Such a gorgeous way to spend a Sunday. Jeremy is such a divine host with effortless grace and friendliness and Chirhiro a really special teacher. Softly spoken and articulate, and passionate. A brief and delicious(yes you get to eat cake! ) theory section provides an interesting background to Ikebana and Chirhio’s personal journey into this amazing craft. Her softness and sensitivity providing a beautiful introduction to creating your own version to take home. I was truly blown away with how nice it was to choose between a beautiful selection of hand gathered elements. Chihiro was patient and super encouraging. This peaceful class has inspired me to keep updating the piece I created. I could not recommend more highly.
