A Life of Fashion, Art and Gold & Creativity

For more than 20 years, Melbourne has been the backdrop to my creative life.

By trade, I am both a Fashion Designer and Goldsmith — two crafts that have shaped who I am and allowed me to express my creativity in very different, yet beautifully connected ways.

Currently working from Shades & Co Studios in Perth, where fun and creative outlook happens daily in the Studio. In the Studio I design and exhibit paintings, Resin Art, Tufting, Jewellery making.

My journey has been built around a love of colour, texture, form and individuality. I have always been drawn to creating pieces that feel personal — clothing and jewellery that aren't simply worn, but become part of the person wearing them.

Melbourne has provided the perfect place for that creativity to grow. Over the years, I have taken my work to some of the city's much-loved markets, including The Abbotsford Convent Market and the Queen Victoria Twilight Market, along with numerous designer and independent markets throughout Melbourne.

Working as a Goldsmith has given me an appreciation for precision, craftsmanship and the beauty of working with precious materials. Fashion, on the other hand, has allowed me to explore movement, colour, shape and expression. Together, the two disciplines have given me a creative language that is uniquely my own.

Over two decades of designing, making and selling in Melbourne have taught me that creativity is not simply about following trends. It is about developing your own voice, trusting your instincts and continuing to evolve.

My work has always been about individuality.

Whether I am working with fabric, precious metals, colour or form, painting and Resin Art, I am happiest when I am creating something that feels alive — something unexpected, something beautiful, and something that allows another person to express who they are.

Art and colour is the journey.

And most importantly, the freedom to keep creating.

My story is still being written — one design, one piece of jewellery, one colour and one idea at a time.
