Wheel Throwing
Over six weeks, your experienced tutor will guide you through the steps involved in creating your very own, unique, one-of-a-kind handmade pots on the potter’s wheel.
You will learn the whole clay process in our fully functioning pottery production studio. The process involves preparing clay, wheel-throwing a form, trimming, decorating the clay surface, attaching handles, and glazing your bisque ware.
At the end of the course, you will have a deeper understanding of the steps involved in making handmade pottery, and you will take home your versions of mugs, bowls, cups, jugs, pot plants, or any other forms you can imagine!
Each class will include group demonstrations and some one-on-one help with more focused instruction.
This course is suitable for beginners new to clay! Returning students will be encouraged to try more advanced forms and techniques.
Can’t wait to get back into it - see you soon!
