Just like Mulan, you might have asked yourself, “When will my reflection show who I am inside?” Well, we’ve got your answer – right here, right now, in this workshop. Carve out a custom mirror masterpiece that reflects your personal style in this hands-on session. You’ll learn the art of glass etching to create a one-of-a-kind design on your very own mirror, being guided through the steps to create something bold and striking. Bring your strongest creative ideas and designs along, even better if you can come with an A4 print to fit your 21 cm x 30 cm mirror. Don’t stress if you’re experiencing creative block though; we have back up flash designs to give you some inspo!* This workshop blends artistic expression with practical skills. By the end, you’ll walk away with a custom-etched mirror and the know-how to create more at home. Plus, you’ll learn how to handle the tools and chemicals safely, so you can keep on making your mark without a hitch. (*Note: unfortunately, gradients aren’t possible with this method; crisp linework is where this medium shines!) Important notes: - This workshop involves corrosive liquids and sharp tools. Safety guidelines and safety gear will be provided. - Not recommended for pregnant participants.
