Welcome to Sultan's Treasure! Opened in 2011 on a dream, a prayer and a deep connection with my Turkish creative roots; Sian and I had an idea to bring the best of Turkish Handicrafts to Western Australia! Colourful patterns - timeless and culturally rich designs steeped in 1000-year-old traditions.
Our love of travelling and passion for art combined with Sian's fine art degree from the University of Sydney makes our mosaic classes - both a fantastic relaxing time out and a dynamic learning experience for creatives of all levels.

We organised a private booking for eight. From the very first email everything was so easy to book and arrange. On the day our teacher was so informative, helpful and patient. We all commented that we would come back again. Thank you for such a wonderful experience

Had lots of fun at home making this with my friend. Making the pattern was tricky, finding pieces of glass that slotted together well was the most difficult part.
Everything was packaged neatly and all the coloured glass was separated well.

It was such an enjoyable, beautiful creative activity. Me and my friends thoroughly enjoyed the class. Our teacher Maria was amazing. She explained everything in detail and methodically. She was very sweet and helpful.
We love our lamps .
P.S The Turkish Apple tea was very tasty!

Had a great time making our Turkish Lamps today! Mariah (hope I spelled that right) was very warm, encouraging and knowledgeable. With her direction, we made some pretty spiffy lamps! Highly recommend for a creative and low demand activity.

Our teacher on the day was Erdem. He was fantastic and gave us a step by step, easy to follow instruction to make our Turkish lamps. The class was a surprise for my wife and daughter and they loved it. Highly recommended

Attended Adam and Mariah's lesson at the Watertown outlet on 8th July and it was sooo much fun! My boyfriend who has never attended any art workshop had a blast as well:) Adam and Mariah gave super clear and precise instructions that were really easy to follow.
I was really indecisive about the colours and patterns to choose for my lamp but Mariah was super patient and even gave great advice on the colour combinations and tiles to use to make my lamp prettier. I had to stay back longer to complete my lamp but both instructors did not rush me at all! Will highly recommend this gender friendly activity and I will come back for more.
P.S It will help a lot to search for colour combinations and lamp designs beforehand so you don't have to stress and think so much on the spot and can spend more time crafting instead:)

This class was absolutely awesome I took my mum for her birthday and we both had the best time The instructors were fabulous and so friendly and informative. Everything was explained so well and we felt very confident with the instruction and comfortable to ask questions. Everyone in the class produced gorgeous lamps. It was one of the best activities I have ever done. Couldn’t recommend more highly

Get your creative on. Easier than you think. The teacher explains in easy steps and is super helpful with tips and tricks. Great location and loads of variety of glass tiles to choose from. Very inexpensive and makes for a unqiue gift. Will do it again.

Great class, and we made some amazing lamps. The gent who taught the class was quite passionate, gave us some great guidance and was very friendly. My only criticisms are that the class area was quite small and cramped, and the chairs were not comfortable and very low compared to the tables.

The workshop was wonderful! Our teacher Maria had a lot of examples for us and there were plenty of patterns to choose from. She had a lot of great advice and it's obvious she has a lot of experience making these lovely lamps. I'd definitely take this workshop again, it was a lot of fun! They also sell DIY packs if you wanted to make more at home

What an amazing night last night with my beautiful mother in-law we made these amazing mosaic glass lamps at sultan's treasure.
What an incredible night, our teacher was incredibly patient and calm and very relaxing to be around very helpful and Very knowledgeable. The cookies and apple tea was delicious. The shop was absolutely beautiful smelt amazing
My two daughters want to make one now next sign up for them

Kelly, our teacher was awesome! She was super friendly and explained everything very clearly
Making the mosaic lamp was so much fun and I loved that there were so many colour options to choose from! My Mum was able to choose more subtle whites, clear & mirrored on hers, while I was able to create a kaleidoscope of colour!
I still need to grout my lamp tomorrow (it takes 24hrs for the silicon to cure) but already it looks so beautiful as you can see in the pic
Highly recommend this class and can't wait to make more!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time.
The class teachers where great and encouraged us to be creative and where very patient with us and gave us help when needed.
We where both very happy with our finished lamps.

So much fun and such a chill vibe. Great to just sit and do while you chat with your friends and the teacher is so friendly. Make sure you give yourself enough time to find the store especially if you haven’t been to this shopping centre before.

I'm so proud of the lamp I created. So much so that we have decided to go back and make another lamp each. This time we will take a group of friends.

I did the Turkish lamp making class on Sat in Rockingham.
The instructor Kelly is wonderful, very knowledgeable, patient and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble and she gives advise when asked for re colours or patterns and she make a lovely cup of tea.
The venue is really nice and there's lots of finished projects around to give you inspiration.
I met some lovely ladies and we had alot of laughs.
This is the second of these classes that I have attended and I will definitely be doing another one.

Great to experience a Shop which had true culture from the owners home land. Very lovely husband and wife own the store. It was surprisingly easy to complete the whole lamp in the session time. Great gift or for gift giving.

Making Turkish mosaic lamps was an amazing workshop. Erdem & Sian were incredible teachers who provided easy & clear instructions on how the process works. They guided us through each part step by step and provided solutions to any mistakes made. Their gentle, warm natured approach was very calming and added to the smooth running of the class. The venue was set up well, it was clean and tidy and inviting. All materials provided with even ‘take home’ supplies to finish the project.
I highly recommend this class and it’s great value for money. Well worth it.

Even with no experience in mosaics, I made a lamp that I love ! Now I have a new interest in mosaics and I can't wait to do another class! Would definitely recommend Kelly and this class !

So worth it! Friendly teachers, plenty of pre-prepared materials and geometric templates makes for a simple but very creative process. The end product is your own creation which looks as beautiful as anything you could buy. Definitely recommend this workshop!
