Tara, a ceramic artist from Tehran, Iran, is now based in Perth, Australia. Her creative journey began fuelled by a deep desire for self-expression in 2018. After several years as an architect, discovering ceramics opened a world of possibilities, granting her the freedom she craved. She believes that even the most functional object should evoke a sense of wonder, inviting viewers to appreciate its intricate design, captivating colors, and engaging textures.

She finds the natural world, with its creatures and organic beauty, to be an endless source of Inspiration. Animals captivate her imagination, while the human form and the events that have shaped her life also find expression in her work. Tara’s art is driven by a commitment to convey a range of emotions through her sculptures. From courage to the relentless pursuit of inner peace, she imbues each piece with an emotional narrative, whether through the form, the posture, or the color.

We had an amazing time during the class it’s was very fun and interactive with a lot of freedom to make whatever we wanted and as many pieces as we could while the class was running. Tara was a great teacher and very helpful to beginners especially when demonstrating techniques, she was also very hospitable and offered us snacks and drinks. I would definitely recommend you try out Tara’s class.

I went along with my friend, and we both thoroughly enjoyed the class! Tara is an excellent teacher, who clearly knows what she's doing. She gave us freedom to create with good guidance. Definitely value for money and would recommend to anyone wanting to experiment with clay, or anyone needing something fun and wholesome to do. Thank you Tara!

Me and a friend took Tara’s pottery class this morning and we had so much fun! Tara was so kind and friendly and helpful, the venue was lovely. She went through some basic techniques to begin with and then we made whatever we wanted and could make as many pieces as we wanted! I’d recommend this class to anybody, we had a great time.
