Build your own living garden under glass
Step into our working production greenhouse at Botaniculture and create something truly special. Guided by our Head of the Market Garden, Mark Phillips, you’ll design and build your own unique terrarium — layering soils, choosing from beautiful specialty plants and adding natural stones to craft a miniature landscape that’s yours to take home.
Along the way, Mark will share practical plant care tips, propagation techniques and stories from life on our Silvan farm, connecting you to the gentle rhythm of growing and making.
Surrounded by rows of living greenery and the calming scent of earth, this hands-on workshop is the perfect chance to slow down, get your hands dirty and discover the simple joy of creating something beautiful and lasting.
No experience needed, all materials provided — just bring your curiosity and a love of nature.

I really loved learning from Bel and Mark. Both were very enthusiastic and clearly experts in their area. I would love to be able to buy kits from them with all the materials and plants in order to make terrariums as gifts in the future. Plus I love the florist shop. Lovely flower arrangements, terrariums and gifts.
