I’ve always been someone who feels things deeply.
Flowers became my way of celebrating the moments that matter most. They’re there for life’s biggest milestones, quiet celebrations, and everything in between. That understanding eventually led me to leave a long career in the tech industry and follow the thing that had quietly been calling me all along.
Today I run The Sentimental Club, creating romantic, garden-inspired florals that celebrate people exactly as they are. I believe beautiful flowers don’t have to feel intimidating or perfect; they should feel personal, a little wild, and full of heart.
Teaching felt like a natural extension of that philosophy. I don’t want people to leave my workshops with something that looks like everyone else’s. I want them to discover their own creativity, slow down for a few hours, and create something that genuinely feels like them. My goal is for every workshop to feel less like a class and more like spending an afternoon with friends, where everyone feels welcome, regardless of experience.
I’ve had the privilege of training alongside experienced wedding florists and have designed flowers for weddings, events, and editorial shoots. I continue to invest in learning and refining my craft because I believe there’s always something new to discover in floristry.
Something people are often surprised by is that floristry isn’t just about arranging flowers; it’s about storytelling. Every stem adds texture, movement, and emotion. The flowers are important, but it’s really about the feeling they leave behind.
If you join one of my workshops, I hope you’ll leave with more than just a beautiful arrangement. I hope you leave feeling a little more creative, a little more connected, and reminded that making something with your own hands can be a pretty wonderful thing.
