Great instructors, lovely ambiance and a fantastic afternoon well spent with friends. You take home a beautiful lamp home that you make, and the packaging is very professional.

There is an overwhelming amount of mosaic colours you will be surprised! Some of the mosaics even had unique glass ripple effects and some were iridescent and opalescent. Amazing materials!

Highly recommend!

Such a brilliant and fin class! The instructors were polite and easy going while supporting us through every step of the process. There was an endless selection of mosaics (I think around over 150 colours) and the quality of the materials were superb.

The venue and Turkish ambiance was special and really enjoyed my Saturday morning at Anatolia Art Studio.

Rumeysa led our session in my home with warmth & ease. She brought so many little bowls of tiles the table looked beautiful before we even started. She helped with colour selections & instructions on how to complete our candle holder just when needed. She was a fantastic. All the members of my party had a wonderful afternoon. It was a delightful way to celebrate my 50th birthday.

Kaitlyn Poole May 2022

Overall the workshop was really lovely! The glass options were endless and heaps of templates to make your own design.

The downfalls were there wasn’t much direction on how to apply the glass and where you need to start and stop for the lamp fittings to sit in place. We had to ask the questions to make sure it all worked.
You Still need to grout the piece your self as well.

There wasn’t any morning tea provided like the description said and the music was broken.
However, They were able to continue to hold the class for us as everyone else has cancelled and we were visiting from interstate, which we really appreciated !

Natasa Vidakovic May 2022

Definitely recommend giving it a try

Teacher was excellent. Instructions were clear and the class was small and inviting. The venue had a power blackout on the day, but I guess that can happen to anyone. We learned how to form mosaic patterns on a candle holder jar. Got to take it home and show it off. Really enjoyed the class.

We had such a great time with glass and glue creating our masterpieces of imperfection and Rumeysa was fabulous in guiding us on colour and pattern choices and great tips. It wasn’t until we finished though and held them under the light that we got the true ‘ta dah’ moment and boy it truly was a wow moment. We are so happy with our swan lamps and would highly recommend this relaxed and creative class.

My daughter, mum and I went for a class as a Mother’s Day treat. What a TREAT! It was such an enjoyable 2 hours. Rumeysa is the instructor and owner, and she is lovely! Rumeysa was great in instructing us and had many lamps and candles to show as examples and inspiration. Asking Rumeysa for advice when creating our designs was invaluable. Drinking tea, nibbling on turkish delight and creating bespoke turkish mosaic lamps was a great experience. My mum was telling us what a fantastic time she had, as did we all.

Teacher was really nice - helped us a lot. The venue was bright and suitable.
Really liked the mosaic materials and that you could take the lamp home. Because of that it was good value for money. I would have likes 30 more minutes to do a good job. If you were struggling, there was not quite enough time.

We were 2 mins late so we may have missed the intro of "this is what we are doing today" but other than that I'd recommend it and do it again!

Hello, I very much enjoyed the course as it was fun to make the candle holder and do it with others.
I also enoyed having the turkish tea and sweets. The only thing I would suggest is a bit more instruction/explanation from the teacher at the start of the workshop. Eg use the sheet to map out pattern, what it looks like if it just dries with the glue, what it looks like if baked/fired, how to fully encrust the piece with the smaller beads. I felt I needed to ask these questions but it would be better if this was explained at the start or a midway point.
Apart from this the teacher was lovely and helpful when questions were asked.

I really enjoyed the class. So nice to turn up and have everything ready to go. Many colours to choose from and quite easy to do. The tea and snack was a nice touch too.

It would have been good to have more of a demo and some guidance about which patterns and colours tend to work best together. Also a bit of storytelling about the history and significance of Turkish lamps.
