She has amazing supplies to use and experiment with, her materials and equipment are excellent quality allowing you to create beautiful artwork. Highly reccommend if you want a quality workshop.

The small class allowed Zsofia to give us personal attention when required. There were heaps of materials to explore and get creative with. 6 hours passed quickly especially when you're in the zone, I'm happy that I'd been able to complete my piece under Zsofia's encouragement and guidance. I now have a frame that I can be proud of.

She had lots of different materials which she encouraged us to use so I got to make a finished weaving that incorporated wool, fabric, paper, wire, ribbon, cord etc which was then framed. Great day

Zsofia was a knowledgeable teacher, a gracious host and possessed a rainbow treasure chest of materials to experiment with. It was a lovely, relaxing way to spend the day, and I particularly enjoyed Zsofia's focus on weaving with non-typical materials (though she was equally knowledgeable about weaving with more traditional materials).

Her instructions were very clear and easy to follow and she also provided lots of tips throughout the class to assist me in correcting common issues that beginner weavers encounter. Zsofia’s studio is well set up and filled with natural light and she has a large array of materials that her students can use to produce their workshop project. I had a wonderful day and learnt a lot.

Zsofia was a truly brilliant teacher, generously sharing her knowledge, skills, and materials. The intimate class size made the instruction even more personal and valuable, allowing for plenty of one-on-one attention. By the end of the day, you walk away with a beautiful finished piece of artwork that you can truly be proud of. I can't recommend this class highly enough, it's an experience you won’t want to miss!

There was ample materials to choose from. I highly recommend this workshop if you would like to explore textile art. Zsofia was a patent and kind teacher with a wealth of knowledge in weaving and sculpture.

When I checked out Zsofia's Instagram, website, Etsy shop and saw her works at her studio, I was amazed at the level of professionalism and artistic research she is doing in textile art. The class ran in her sunlit studio which had a lovely atmosphere full of inspirational artworks, happy plants and amazing materials that I got to use. I could tell that I was guided by a professional artist who was widely recognised by getting commissions, being featured in magazines and exhibitions. She knows the complexities of tapestry weaving at a professional level, yet her teaching breaks it down to small steps that are easily achievable even by beginners. The yarns, threads, different types of wire and other materials she provided was of high quality, sourced from all over the world (such as UK, India etc). She was very generous by sharing her knowledge and materials (I even got to take home enough to finish the tapestry I started in her class). The loom that I purchased from Zsofia is of good quality, reasonably priced and easy to use. Zsofia promotes the idea of using unconventional materials which opens amazing possibilities. She gave me yarns made of paper, recycled saris (sourced from India), banana leaves, nettle, delicate wire sourced from the UK. I couldn't stop thinking what else I could introduce into my tapestry - my fluffy cat's hair (cleaned up :-), feathers that I got from Spotlight for my other craft projects, old but loved garments cut into strips (can't be worn anymore, but will make a very meaningful part of the tapestry), natural materials from my backyard (provided they don't break) etc. It felt a bit like weaving your own life into a tapestry. Small details that make a huge difference really matter both in Zsofia’s teaching and artistic practice so you will get careful guidance, care and the best outcome. Highly recommend this class!

I felt very fortunate to have her patient and expert guidance with my first effort on a table top loom. Zsofia provided all the speciality materials and I was able to freely pick varied colours and textures from her large collection of material, yarns, paper and wire. Her home studio is a beautiful space and the workshop was a joy. I am undecided whether to hang or frame my work but Zsofia provided me all that I need for either option. I am thrilled with my piece and I highly recommend Zsofia to anyone considering a weaving workshop.

It was a transformative experience that encouraged us to think beyond traditional materials and embrace our creativity with, recycled newspaper, copper wire, mesh, sari fabric and even text! It made the process so much more personalised and impactful. I loved how environmentally and ethically conscious Zsofia was about the types of materials she used. The examples she showed us demonstrated how easy it was to upcycle everyday items and incorporate them beautifully into the weaving. My colleagues and I attended this workshop as part of a team-building exercise and it was such a nice bonding experience filled with lots of discussions and laughter. This was an incredible and unique experience and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to attend!

I have never done weaving before, however, after the one workshop, I feel comfortable enough to try it on my own! Would recommend Zsofia's workshop to everyone!

They challenged my thinking around the types of work that could be created. Zsofia is very generous with sharing her knowledge and skills. Seeing some of her work in person is very inspirational. The session was great value for money and I left ready to assemble my frame and to get started with some materials Zsofia shared. Zsofia offered a one-on-one session where a lot of people would have cancelled for less than 2 or 3 participants. I am very grateful she did and it was well worth the trip from Tasmania! I highly recommend this workshop.

All materials are supplied and you can even purchase a loom to take home if you choose. She teaches in such a way that you feel like you’ve really understood the process and didn’t just complete a project that you couldn’t replicate later. Zsofi’s class is so unique in that she teaches you to use a variety of unusual materials to create something truly beautiful. She is an inspirational artist and I would highly recommend this class to anyone. All skill levels could do this class.
