What you'll do
If you are interested in the world of welding but are not sure where to start your journey, then this welding workshop is perfect for you! In this beginner-friendly class, you will learn from the expert welders at Skilled Welding in Bayswater.
For this class, we will be using a piece of machinery known as a MIG stick welder. MIG stands for metal inert gas. This welding tool creates an electrical current between the base metal and a wire welding electrode, before melting the wire and joining it with the base.
MIG welding tools provide clean results and are a great starting point for DIY welding, as they effortlessly produce a high-strength weld that looks great. We will also be working with a user-friendly steel alloy known as mild steel. This material creates finished pieces that are clean and precise.
Through demonstration and practice, you will learn the foundational skills of welding and gain the confidence to continue this fun activity after your class.

What to bring
