What you'll do
In light of the government regulations as of 31st Jan, we will require proof of vaccination from all class participants over the age of 16.
Looking for creative and fun date night ideas in Perth? Not Yet Perfect’s wheel throwing and wine pottery workshop is a favourite for locals!
Start your night off with a glass of wine to get those creative juices flowing.
Enjoy a beautiful grazing spread by Blue Water Grill Restaurant, followed by an evening of fun, mess, and a bit of creative chaos, and a lot of laughs as you create your own ceramics wares.
What you will learn:
- Pottery on the wheel
- Wheelwork
- Wheel throwing
Wheelwork classes are held at Not Yet Perfect Studio located at Heathcote Cultural Precinct in Applecross. We welcome individuals to come and learn a new skill during this creative experience. There are no previous skills required, simply bring your authentic self.
Terms and conditions:
Tickets and refund
Please select carefully when choosing your workshop date and time. We do not refund or reschedule workshop bookings. If you are unable to attend a workshop, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to another person.
Firing
If requested for, all pieces made will be fired and glazed and ready for pickup a minimum of eight weeks after the workshop date. All participants will be notified via text when items are ready for pickup. A firing fee of $15 per piece paid during your workshop covers the trimming process, glazing of your works and two kiln firings.
Pottery breakage
In the unfortunate case where your pottery breaks or cracks in the kiln, Not Yet Perfect do not offer refunds, as this is the nature of the firing process- pottery is a beautiful yet delicate process. While we take the utmost care to ensure all works are delivered in the best conditions, in the case were any ceramics breaks due to mishandling, you will be contacted by one of our team and a full refund of your firing fee will be offered.

No knowledge is necessary. Adults only, 18 plus.

- If any work made is kept, a $15 charge per piece is applicable to cover firing and glazing. All work will be glazed in gloss glaze.

This course was a perfext Mother's day present! The venue was lovely and our teachers were parient, vibrant and fun. The food platters looked stunning and wine went down well. After many trial and errors both mum and I managed to get some pieces of the wheel that although "not yet perfect" will be talking points in our home for years to come. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome evening with Lucy! She was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about pottery. She was very positive and friendly. The studio looked beautiful and all the equipment was provided. The wine was also a delicious addition to this crafty evening :) Having never done pottery before, it didn’t stop me from participating. Lucy was able to teach all levels. All in all it was a lovely experience where I learnt new skills :)
