Jacqui discovered pottery about six years ago when corporate life was no longer fulfilling her. She signed up at the local community centre for pottery courses and was hooked. In fact, she became so passionate about it, that she completed numerous courses in hand-building, wheel-throwing, glazing and firing and spent intensive 3 months doing pottery in a school in Denmark.

Jacqui started OoPs (One-off Pottery Studio) in 2019 and has sold her work at several markets like the Rose Street Market, the Brighton Soul Night Market, Le Studio Ceramics market, Mooroduc Station Market and has exhibited at the Beaumaris Art group, the Dinner Plain Art Fair, the Gulgong Clay Festival and the Sol Gallery in Fitzroy. She took over the management of the ceramic studio at Le Studio Art Space in Mordialloc early in 2022, and runs several wheel-throwing and handbuilding courses in collaboration with other wonderful ceramic teachers there and at her studio in Hampton.
