What you'll do
Looking for fun school holiday activities in Sydney? Look no further than our art class for kids in Sydney's Inner West.In this fun workshop, we will be using acrylic paints on thick artist-quality paper to create bright abstract layers. Think splashes, textures and even finger painting! This workshop is suitable for children as young as 4, so even the little ones can get in on the fun. They'll have the opportunity to create messy and free backgrounds that are full of personality. Once the layers are dry, we'll use them to make either an owl or fish artwork.Children aged five and above can be dropped off. Our skilled instructors will be there to guide them through the process, ensuring they have a fantastic time while learning new techniques. By the end of the workshop, they'll be amazed at what they've created and feel proud to take home their own unique artwork!

Your teacher
My name is Jen and I am passionate about encouraging creativity in students of all ages. Creative Kids Co was founded 11 years ago as a way to encourage and guide children through their own artistic journeys. I am also the co-creator of IMOK (Art, T-shirts & Design), established in 2004, which opened up the door to commission and exhibit my own artworks, complete illustrations for a series of books, as well as sell my wares at design markets nationwide. I have also held live art demonstrations and was the featured artist with US Surf/Skate Company Volcom. My current passion is working with resin and urban illustration.
