I was a little shy at first and often feel nervous when trying something new, but she made me feel comfortable and welcomed from the moment I arrived. The class was well-structured and suitable for all skill levels, whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience already. All you need is a little enthusiasm and an open mind, and I’m sure you’ll fall in love with crochet just like I did. Highly recommended! As someone whose teenage crochet skills were dust in the wind, I felt very welcomed, encouraged and supported at every step of the way. Helen has a wonderful gift for explaining techniques clearly and patiently, making even the trickiest stitches feel achievable. Helen's enthusiasm for crochet is contagious, and she creates such a friendly, relaxed atmosphere that gives everyone the confidence to learn at their own pace. By the end of the class, I was amazed at what I had accomplished and excited to keep crocheting. If you've ever thought about learning to crochet but weren't sure where to start, I can't recommend Helen's class highly enough. Helen doesn't just teach crochet - she inspires creativity, builds confidence and shows that with a little patience, anyone can create something beautiful. Thank you, Helen, for such a wonderful experience!

The group of five were all at various points of being beginners and she managed to teach us all at the level we were at. All of us advanced in our knowledge and enjoyment. We all managed the basic stitches and some advanced onto more intricate stitches. The class was set at an excellent pace and Helen was extremely welcoming and generous with time and attitude. I loved it.

Provided morning tea, then taught us how to make a granny square based off of a pattern. At the end of class we were all given the yarn we used, the hook, the teaching booklet and stitch markers. Overall very happy with the class, would reccomend to other begineers.

Class was v.relaxed and friendly and hands on and one on one instruction was given positively. Elvis provided emotional support to deal with any frustration. I think everybody was coming from the same place, wanting to learn crocheting and we were all beginners. The room was light and airy with music in the background which was not really noticeable. Learned from operating theatres? Crochet hook and yarn provided was comfortable to use. Gift bag at the end was a handy tote bag. Morning tea was excellent plus selection of teas. The most thing I liked most was the relaxed atmosphere which made learning easier. Overall a very positive experience. Haven't has chance to look up Bellacocoa yet. Exhausted yesterday with hopefully synapses sparking new networks.

She was warm and welcoming, and despite me misreading the flyer and arriving 30 minutes late, she made sure I received good support to ensure I wasn’t disadvantaged. I was a complete novice to crocheting, so I did find it challenging as others in the class came in with some pre-existing skills and understanding. Despite this, I really enjoyed the morning, as Helen was so patient and attentive to everyone. Thanks Helen!
