This relaxed, fun, and friendly workshop is perfect for complete beginners. You'll learn all the ins and outs of crocheting, from the basic stitches and crochet terminology to reading patterns and how to hold your yarn and hook so you can begin your crochet journey with the perfect tension.
You'll be surrounded by other beginners just like yourself, so there's no need to worry about being the only newbie in the room. We create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere where you can ask questions and learn at your own pace.
We'll also provide you with all the materials you need to get started on your crochet journey. You will receive a Crochet Hook and yarn. By the end, you'll get to take home your own fun project to complete as well as newfound skills and notes to refer to.

Hi, I’m Helen and I am passionate about all things crochet.
I am self taught and have had years of experience to master this craft. I have won a few awards at the Royal show and regional shows.. and I wanted to share my love of this fabulous craft. I find crochet to be a wonderfully relaxing pastime, it helps to soothe the soul.
I have an etsy shop where I sell some of my hat creations and I do custom designs and orders. I have decided to expand into teaching crochet as I want everyone to experience the joy of being able to create something individual from a hook and yarn. It is a truly wonderful experience to make something with your own hands. It’s very satisfying and relaxing.
I do have experience in teaching students through my work. I work as an Anaesthetic Technician in the operating room. I have also taught friends and family to crochet and I look forward to helping you start your Crochet Journey.
