What you'll do
Learn to sew in this beginner sewing course in Gympie that will take you from novice to sewer who is confident in basic sewing skills and machine use.
Over the course of four weeks and eight hours of professional tuition, you will learn to make a fully lined tote bag with a boxed bottom and optional pocket detail.
You will learn:
- All about your machine
- How to follow a pattern
- Measuring and cutting fabric
- Different interfacing and when to use them
- Basic bag making skills
- Best sewing tools and practices
This sewing course is for you if you:
️- Are new to sewing
- Have not used a machine before or it was many years ago
- Want to learn how to use a machine and start sewing
By the end of the course, you can take home your tote bag, as well as some new sewing skills!

Knowledge required
Beginner-friendly. Aged 18+.
What you'll get
- Eight hours of professional sewing tuition in a group of up to eight students
