In this hands-on, creative and educational 1.5-hour workshop, kids will learn about ecosystems, sustainable gardening, and design while crafting a beautiful, living terrarium to take home.️ A STEAM-Powered Plant Adventure!This hands-on workshop is packed with fun, curiosity, and creativity — all through the lens of STEAM:Science – Learn about soil layers, microclimates, sustainable gardening, and plant careTechnology – Discover how terrariums function as closed-loop ecosystems (like mini biospheres!)Engineering – Design and build your own terrarium from the ground upArt – Get creative with natural & upcycled materials to decorate your masterpieceMaths – Measure, mix, and calculate volumes and ratios like a true plant scientist!·       Kids are welcome to bring a small figurine (max 8cm) to include in their terrarium — LEGO figures are perfect! • All terrarium jars are thrifted and unique
• Ingredients bought in bulk to reduce packaging
• Decorations are often recycled & repurposed
• Mini plants are sourced from local Canberra growers or propagated in-house
• Gloves & masks provided are 100% compostable
