Looking for something creative (and screen-free!) these school holidays? Step into the cozy glow of our studio and discover the joy of candle making—a hands-on activity perfect for kids (5+) and teens, and just as fun for parents too!
Each child will:
Choose a beautiful porcelain cup from our collection of unique designs.
Pick their favourite scent from several lovely essential oils.
Learn how candles are made—from melting natural soy wax to pouring and finishing.
Hide a secret message inside their candle—whether it’s a little “thank you, ” a joke, or words of encouragement, it will appear magically as the candle burns!
At the end of the workshop, you’ll take home your very own handcrafted candle—a unique keepsake, a thoughtful gift, or just a fun reminder of a creative day spent together.
This activity is a wonderful way for kids and teens to:
Build confidence by creating something with their own hands
Explore their creativity in a relaxed, friendly studio
Share a fun, memorable bonding experience with family or friends

Our holiday workshops are small and welcoming, and spots fill quickly.
Reschedules: Please let us know at least 3 days before your class to move your booking.
Cancellations: Full refund available if cancelled 3+ days in advance. Late cancellations or reschedules (within 3 days) are non-refundable.

Our venue is a short 200-metre walk from the Ayr St/Middleborough Rd bus station. Free parking is available at Spotlight Box Hill, just 40 metres away. Please avoid parking at Parkview, 29-31 Clarice Road, as it will be closed. Use the Spotlight parking lot or park on the roadside instead. Thank you for your understanding!
