Mr Hart (the artist) was very welcoming and took the time to explain the entire process t us. We had so much creative freedom which I absolutely loved. The studio was very well lit and maintained, the music was great and we were given all the materials we would need for the session. I learned a few new tricks and the different uses for each paint brush. There were no other customers booked into that session so it was basically a private session and we each got 1:1 attention from Mr Hart. When it was time to leave, it was raining outside and so Mr Hart very kindly offered to say back and let us wait inside the studio until our ride arrived- this was close to 10pm! Thank you Mr Hart for a fabulous experience, we will definitely be back :)

Located at 61 Stanley Ave in Mt Waverley, Stanley Ave Studio is an inclusive community and supportive environment. It’s owner and artist-in-resident Hart (Hartmut Veit) has over 30 years experience teaching, studying, exhibiting and working as a professional graphic designer and contemporary artist. And a string of academic art qualifications such as a research Masters of Fine Art from Victorian College of the Arts, a Masters of Visual Art from Monash University in addition to a Batchelor’s Degree in Graphic Design at Swinburne University. So rest assured you are in good hands with one of the best teachers around.Stanley Ave Studio also offers weekly art, yoga and mindfulness meditation classes to nourish creativity, embodied movement, personal growth and transformation.
