Kids Spring School Holiday Pottery Workshop
Celebrate spring with clay! In this fun, hands-on pottery workshop, kids will create their very own ceramic flower pocket, designed to hang on the wall and hold a little bunch of fresh or dried flowers.
Using simple hand-building techniques, children will shape and join their clay pieces before bringing their creation to life. They can turn their flower pocket into their favourite animal, add flowers, patterns, textures or create a completely unique design of their own.
This workshop is all about giving kids the freedom to imagine, make and decorate, while learning the basics of working with clay in a relaxed and creative environment.
Once finished, we’ll glaze and fire their creations, ready to be collected and enjoyed at home.

  • 4/5 from Sonja Loke, attended Jul 2025: We did a private class over school holidays for a hand building pottery. 5-12 years old. 3 mums stayed to help the little ones. But most kids 7 and above can easily follow the instructions. The children made plates, and enjoyed decorating it. The colouring, could be better managed, so it’s more efficient. Children end up not having enough time. It’s was a good idea and gesture for Noor to organize hot chocolate and cookies in between, while kids finished up their plate before painting. The place was good for running around as the outside of the studio was safe n covered.

The whole setup was really fun and relaxed, and the staff were super kind and patient with the kids. It was such a joy to see her so focused and proud of her little masterpiece. She couldn’t stop talking about it afterward and keeps checking on her pot at home like it’s a treasure. Such a lovely activity – creative, hands-on, and perfect for kids her age. Highly recommend!

I’m Nour, a ceramic artist, business owner, and teacher based in Blackburn, Melbourne. My journey with ceramics began in 2023 as a creative escape, quickly growing into a deep passion. After moving to Australia just before the pandemic, I faced a new chapter filled with change and uncertainty. In search of something familiar, I reconnected with a long-lost love: pottery. In 2025, that passion became Pots2Love, a space for people to explore clay, create unique pieces, and experience the joy of handmade ceramics.
At Pots2Love, we offer hands-on workshops, structured classes, and tailor-made events in a warm and welcoming studio. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced maker, I’m here to guide you in crafting something beautiful while enjoying the creative process.
Join me for a class, workshop, or special event—I’d love to share the magic of clay with you!
