Join us for a one-day sculpture workshop in Melbourne. In this session, you will explore how to shape a human torso in clay, from building its basic structure to adding muscles and movement, and by the end of the day you will have a finished torso sculpture to take home.
You will:
  • Build the simple base structure for your sculpture
  • Learn the key shapes of the ribcage, pelvis, and main muscle areas
  • See how posture and movement change the feel of the torso
  • Shape, smooth, and refine the forms so your sculpture comes to life
This workshop is open to all levels. Whether you are completely new or already creative, you will get personal support and plenty of time to explore your own style.
By the end of the course, you will not only have gained a deeper understanding of anatomy and sculpture techniques but also have created a unique and expressive figurative sculpture to cherish.

  • Please note: Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Limited to 6 participants.
  • The $280 price includes all materials and full use of studio tools on the day.
