I really enjoyed how hands on and well structured the workshop was, and I loved that we all got to take a finished sculpture home the same day. You could really see how much preparation had gone into making the workshop a success. His way of explaining anatomy and form made the process easy to follow, and I came away feeling like I’d genuinely learnt something new.

Great fun and Alexander ensures you can all achieve a successful piece in one day. I highly recommend. I have booked again already and will do a male torso next time.

His gentle assistance and encouragement He is a fabulous teacher I always come out of the classes with a finished sculpture that i am proud of and amazed that i accomplished the level of skill and aesthetics within the work. Patient, knowledgeable, perceptive & had the ability to give even me the confidence needed to create a good result. He was generous with his time and his advice and I values the print outs and models that he used to simplify the difficult process. I am so grateful and hoping he will run some longer classes eg full term classes of say 2-3 hours per weekend. Jane Modrzewski

Well, how wrong was I! And it looks so good. I am so proud. Alex is a great teacher, a lovely guy, and really supportive. He is so knowledgeable and is happy to pass it on. I had the best day. His workshops are very well organised with clear instructions and due attention to every individual. The place is clean and tidy with all of his sculptures neatly displayed for an added inspiration on the day.

It doubled up as an anatomy class as we worked clay muscles onto our developing sculpture to shape the form. I highly recommend this workshop. Thank you so much Alexander.

I learned a lot about the fundamentals of anatomy and correct proportioning, and was happy with the torso I made! The class environment was very laid back and the location was so cute.

I learned how to assemble a human torso using simple shapes and gained a clear understanding of how human anatomy enables movement. Alexander was patient and thorough, thoughtfully accommodating those of us with no prior sculpting experience, while still giving us plenty of space and respect to express ourselves creatively. We all started with the same theme, yet each of us went home with a unique and original piece of art — something we’ll truly treasure as a memorable experience to share with our friends.
