Recent reviews of Sticc and Thicc Life Drawing Workshop
- 5/5 from Sze-Ling Ng, attended Oct 2026: There were some amazingly skilled people, so I felt a bit self conscious, but it turned out to be a relaxed environment with everyone focused on their own work. I really enjoyed the structure of the workshop with different lengthed poses. It was cool to have the opportunity to walk around and see the work of everyone during the breaks. Super convenient as all materials were provided.
- 5/5 from Sonja Peart, attended Sep 2026: Thank you Steph, Josh and Mia for an amazing workshop. We had a fabulous time, stretched ourselves creatively and were thrilled with our results. I cannot recommend highly enough what a wonderful event this is for private groups of 15. For someone who could barely draw a stick figure, I was very happy with being able to produce what I did.
- 5/5 from Esen Chia, attended Sep 2026: Clear instructions. Really enjoyed it.
- 4/5 from Tara Mathews, attended Sep 2026: I really enjoyed my first life drawing session - it was so interesting and great for developing observation and sketching skills. Thank you to model Mia for such great poses. I would have preferred if talking wasn't permitted during the timed exercises as I found that distracting when trying to focus.
- 5/5 from Sandra Frew, attended Aug 2026: Fantastic class, very well run and guests made to feel welcome and comfortable. Will definitely book again.
- 5/5 from Owen Cumming, attended Feb 2026: Great vibe, everyone was very welcoming and the space felt really relaxed. Felt no pressure as a complete drawing amateur, it was easy to just have a go regardless of skill level.
- 5/5 from Emma Williamson, attended Jun 2025: Steph was an incredible host, created a safe and fun environment - felt very comfortable both as model and artist!
- 5/5 from Teresa Watts, attended May 2025: I’ve been a regular at Sticc & Thicc Life Drawing for some time now, and I keep coming back because it’s just what I need on so many levels. Steph is an excellent host and an inspiring artist, and I love seeing the variety of shapes and sizes and poses of the wonderful models. The format of very short poses going into longer ones is the perfect way to ease into things, especially if you haven’t drawn before or in a long time. It feels like everyone who comes is surprised by what they manage to create, no matter what their level. The best thing is the cosy and welcoming vibe in the beautiful space, I think it brings out the best in everyone! The best way to creatively recharge ️
- 5/5 from Courtney Coulson, attended May 2025: I had a fun time, and the teacher was welcoming. This was just the kind of thing I was looking for to motivate me to better my drawing skills.
- 5/5 from Tahlia Sanders, attended May 2025: My friends and I had such a lovely time at this class. Steph and Sharna did a great job of keeping things relaxed and fun.
- 5/5 from Kayla Kargas, attended Nov 2024: Everything was beautiful
