- 3/5 from Kathlyn Smit, attended Nov 2021: On the day I attended there were 3 other ladies that had started a session earlier (not on my time slot) and they were being helped quite a lot compared to me. I did think our teacher was very knowledgeable in her macrame experience and passing that onto other people could be worked on. Time to complete my pot holder went longer than the 2 1/2 hrs as I was left to my own devices at times and when teacher looked my work over some had to be re-done, which added time to the class. None the less I enjoyed this class and Marcia provided a lovely afternoon tea with the most delicious cake. Thank you.
- 5/5 from Nikki Lafontaine, attended Apr 2021: Another great class. All materials provided and lots of help too, thank goodness! So relaxing and great to see it all come together. A very satisfying craft to do.
- 5/5 from Tahlicia Poku, attended Nov 2020: Marcia was a patient and enthusiastic teacher. Our cllient who has a disability enjoyed the class and learn't a knew skill. The venue was lovely, Marcia's own beuatiful back yard. All materials were provided and set up really well, especially with our clients limitations to move around, this class offered appropriate options to ensure access was possible. The class is definately value for money! If you are interested in learning the bascis of Macrame to create some awesome projects, this is definetely the right class for you.
Your teacher
I first learnt macramé when I was eight years old. A friend and I used to spend hours making macramé in the playground and I used to explore the local haberdashery and florists in my West Australian country town searching for materials. Now I am a qualified teacher and have turned my macramé obsession into a small business, Knot in Love, where I teach small group workshops from my home and occasionally other venues ie for conference bookings.
