Kids After School Handbuilding Pottery Class – 8 Weeks

Designed for children aged 7 to 15 years, this beginner-friendly program introduces a variety of hand-building pottery techniques in a relaxed, creative, and supportive studio environment. Parents are also welcome to join and create alongside their child, making it a lovely shared activity for families.Throughout the eight weeks, participants will explore pinching, coiling, slab building, clay sculpture, stamping, surface decoration, marble clay, painting, and glazing.Students will create a variety of functional and decorative ceramic pieces, including cups, bowls, plates, planters, sculptures, and more. They will be encouraged to experiment with different shapes, colours, textures, and ideas while developing their own creative style.By the end of the program, each participant can expect to complete approximately 8 to 9 unique ceramic pieces.No previous pottery experience is required. Our instructor will demonstrate each technique step by step and provide guidance throughout the creative process while giving every participant plenty of freedom to explore their own ideas.What’s Included:
