Resin Art Workshop – Choose Your Own Project

One workshop. So many possibilities. Choose something you’ll actually love to make, use and take home

2.5 hours

Class size 1 to 16 (public classes), 6 to 50

$80 - $150 ($80 for Wine, champagne, Gin glass; $80 for Glass Smoothie tumbler with bamboo lid and straw; $90 for Stainless Steel Smoothie Tumbler / coffee travel mug; $100 for Small wooden bowl (15x5cm) or glass vase or chopping board; $120 for Cheese board with knives or lazy Susan; $150 for Picnic Table) (Afterpay & PayPal Pay in 4 available)

Why should everyone at an art workshop have to make the same thing?
At Woodpecker Designs, we do things a little differently.
Our mixed resin workshops are all about choice. Instead of arriving to find one project waiting for everyone, you choose the piece that speaks to you.
Maybe it’s a beautiful serving board for your next gathering. A resin-finished wooden bowl for your home. A colourful tumbler you’ll use every day. A vase, drinkware, Lazy Susan or something completely different or even a gift that you are making for someone’s birthday, Christmas or anniversary.
You choose the project.
You choose the colours.
You make it yours.
Then the fun begins.
We’ll take you through the resin process step by step – from planning your colour palette and preparing your resin to pouring, layering and creating the movement and effects that make every piece completely individual.
And because everyone around the table may be working on something different, no two workshops look quite the same. It’s part art class, part creative escape, and a lovely way to spend a few hours making something with your own hands.
You don’t need to think of yourself as “artistic”, and you don’t need any previous resin experience. We’ll be right there to guide you while still giving you the freedom to create something that feels like you.
Come with a friend, bring your partner, gather a group or simply come on your own.
Just don’t be surprised if choosing what to make is the hardest part.
Note: please allow 2.5 to 3 hours (depending on the group size)

Please note: Public dates for this class require at least 4 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we may cancel the session; if that happens, we'll inform you and let you choose between a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.
What you'll get
* Your choice of resin art project
* All resin, colours, materials and equipment
* Step-by-step guidance throughout your creation
* A drink of your choice to enjoy during the workshop

Knowledge required
No previous resin art or creative experience is required. This workshop is suitable for complete beginners, and we’ll guide you step-by-step throughout the process.
