Introduction to Stitching and Embroidery Course

Beginners Embroidery classes are organised by the Embroiderers Guild of WA, for interested people who would like to learn how to create beautiful pieces with their hands.Come and join in the creative fun with us - all are welcome.This is the second project of the year. It will be held on Sunday 10th May and second workshop will be on Sunday 14th June at 1.30pm - 4.00pm. New projects will be introduced in July and September 2026Spend two relaxing afternoons at our embroidery course in Perth, perfect for beginners. Expert tutors will guide you on creating and embellishing small designs, making the learning process enjoyable and stress-free.Each workshop spans two Sunday afternoons, a month apart, allowing ample time to practice your newfound stitching skills. You'll learn essential starter stitches and receive a complete kit containing all necessary materials to finish your project.Immerse yourself in the calming world of embroidery and experience the joy of creating your unique pieces. Take home not only your finished project but also a sense of accomplishment and newfound creativity.Our second Start Stitching workshop in 2026 is Hapsburg Lace, an effective, easy embroidery technique used to produce a variety of designs using simple straight stitches.Cost: $90.00This design has been created by one of our Guild Members and is suitable to displayed in a clear coaster that can be used every day. There will be a selection of thread colours, so choose your favourite colour on the day.
