I am Tash and the face behind Althea Ceramics here on Kaurna Land, Adelaide. My story with pottery began over 5 years ago, I booked into an intro course at the Jamfactory and since then - never looked back. I bought a shonky second hand wheel and began practicing. During this time I landed some pottery teaching gigs at two different studios part-time whilst continuing my practice in my garage. Before I knew it, I outgrew my garage and moved into my own studio space at The Rundle Collective. I run hand building and one off wheel throwing sessions in this studio space. What started as a hobby, has grown into an interest that I enjoy sharing with other people, and seeing them fall in love with the process of pottery, just as I did.
