Q: What is the minimum group size for a private workshop?
Our standard minimum for a private mobile pet bowl workshop is eight guests. Smaller groups may be possible with a minimum booking charge equivalent to eight guests. Please send through a request and we’ll be happy to discuss the options with you.
Q: What is the maximum group size?
Our standard maximum is 20 guests, allowing everyone to receive plenty of guidance and support. We may be able to accommodate a larger group with sufficient notice and an additional facilitator, so please contact us to discuss your event.
Q: Which areas do you travel to?
Our standard mobile workshop area covers Wollongong, Shellharbour and surrounding Illawarra suburbs, extending south to Shell Cove. As our service area is based on practical driving distance rather than a perfect radius, some locations shown within ClassBento’s map may not be available. Please provide your venue address with your request so we can confirm availability and any applicable travel costs.
Q: Do you provide or book the venue?
This is a mobile workshop held at a venue arranged by the customer, such as a home, workplace or hired event space. Customers are responsible for choosing, booking and paying for their venue. If you’re unsure whether a space will be suitable, please contact us before booking and we’ll be happy to advise.
Q: What does the venue need to provide?
The venue will need enough tables and chairs for all participants, good lighting and sufficient room for everyone to paint comfortably. We’ll also need convenient access to water and permission to use paints and creative materials within the space.
Q: Do you set up and clean up the workshop?
Yes. We bring the creative materials and take care of setting up and packing down our workshop equipment. Please ensure we can access the venue for an agreed period before and after the class so we have enough time to prepare the space and pack everything away.
Q: Are venue hire, parking and other access costs included?
Venue hire is not included and remains the customer’s responsibility. Any unavoidable paid parking, tolls or special venue access costs will be discussed and agreed upon before the booking is confirmed.
Q: Can guests choose their pet bowl size?
Yes. Guests can choose from the pet bowl sizes available for their workshop. We may ask you to confirm each participant’s preferred size in advance so we can prepare the correct bowls for your group.
Q: Is the finished pet bowl food safe and dishwasher safe?
The bowl will need to complete a curing process at home before it can be used. Each guest will receive clear curing instructions to take home. Once those instructions have been followed and the bowl is fully cured, it will be food safe and dishwasher safe.
Q: Can I use the pet bowl straight after the workshop?
No. Please wait until the full curing process has been completed before using or washing the bowl. The take-home instructions will explain what to do and how long the bowl needs to cure.
Q: Can I bring my pet to the workshop?
This will depend on the rules of your chosen venue and whether the environment is suitable. Please check with the venue and let us know in advance if pets will be attending. For everyone’s safety, pets must be supervised and kept away from paints, equipment and the working area.
