What you'll do
This school holidays, kids can create their own resin artwork on something they’ll actually use! Each young artist will choose a quality drinkware piece to transform with resin — a glass smoothie tumbler with straw, a stainless-steel takeaway cup, or a stainless-steel smoothie tumbler.They’ll choose their favourite colours and, with step-by-step guidance from our facilitators, transform their chosen drinkware into a completely unique resin creation.Rather than simply making a small craft piece, kids finish the experience with a beautiful, practical piece of drinkware designed by them, something they can use and enjoy long after the school holidays are over.Everything is included: their chosen drinkware, resin, colours, materials, and guided workshop experience. Meet Brett and ElenaThe Couple Behind Woodpecker DesignsWoodpecker Designs is the creative partnership of husband and wife, Brett and Elena.Brett founded Woodpecker Designs in 1998 and spent more than 12 years handcrafting quality furniture, with his work proudly featured in furniture stores across Western Australia, including EasyLiving, Souths Furnishings, General Store, Lifestyle Furniture and Habitat Furnishings.Elena moved to Australia in 2006 and Perth has been home ever since. She holds bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics and bachelor of Creative Industries (Interior Design) from Edith Cowan University, combining analytical thinking with a passion for creativity.
