Arrive and Breathe

Arrive and Breathe

Leave the day behind: the roles, the obligations, the washing. We begin with gentle movement and breathwork to settle the body and open the mind.

 Map Your Life

Map Your Life

Using long rolls of paper and post-it notes, you'll map the chapters of your life: the joys, the turning points, the passions you quietly set aside.

Notice What Calls You

Notice What Calls You

Look back at everything you've mapped and notice what calls to you. A buried dream, a recurring pattern, a road not taken.

Name What's Holding You Back

Name What's Holding You Back

With curiosity and no judgement, you'll explore what stopped you and what might be quietly ready to shift.

Imagine What's Next

Imagine What's Next

You'll answer the question you've been a little afraid to ask yourself and leave with one small, real experiment to try.

Settle and Soak It In

Settle and Soak It In

We close with a soft restorative practice and sound bath, letting everything that surfaced quietly settle into the body.

Somewhere under your roles and responsibilities, there are things that light you up. Maybe you used to paint, write, dance, or make things with your hands. Those little joys that made time fly by. But somewhere along the way, they got buried (maybe under all that washing!)
This 3-hour self-discovery workshop in North Fremantle blends gentle yoga with guided reflection to help you find them again. Together you'll remember what brings you joy, notice what's been getting in the way, and design tiny, low-stakes experiments to bring more of it back into your week.
You'll start with yoga to settle the body and quieten the busy mind — nothing intimidating, just gentle movement and breath that gets you out of your head. Then we'll move into a structured (but never boring!) reflection process to look back at the moments in your life when you felt most lit up. You'll map where and when they got buried, and why. Finally, you'll design a small, practical first step toward what actually matters to you.
The space is candlelit and quiet, with bolsters, blankets, and herbal tea. The group is capped at 12 — intimate, never intimidating. It's also lovely to come with a friend.
Before yoga, I worked for over ten years as an experience designer, running journey-mapping workshops. The Treasure Hunt brings those skills back, in a gentler, more personal form. Combined with yoga to soften the nervous system, the reflection lands differently. You're not problem-solving from a tense, busy mind — you're discovering from a spacious one.
You don't need to be a yogi or a journaler. You just need to be quietly curious about what's next.

Little Glimmer
Little Glimmer

female Women-owned

Hi, I'm Em — founder and teacher of Little Glimmer.
Like a lot of people, I came to yoga for a very functional reason. I had a strained back, and someone told me yoga might help. What I didn't expect was to fall completely for what yoga does for the mind and the soul, as well as the body. The way an idea you needed would surface mid-flow. The way a few quiet minutes of breathing could soften a hard week. The way ancient wisdom — thousands of years old — could feel surprisingly relevant to a Wednesday morning in North Fremantle.
That surprise is what I've been chasing in my teaching ever since.
I trained in 2022–23 in the ISHTA lineage at Tamara Yoga, and I'm forever grateful to Tamara Graham for making yoga philosophy feel relatable and often fun. I went on to qualify as a Menopause Yoga teacher with Petra Coveney. That side of my work feels especially close to my heart — supporting women through perimenopause with techniques to ease the weird and unexpected challenges of this life stage.
In the years since I started teaching, I've taught more than four hundred classes and retreats, and welcomed over three hundred and fifty students into the room. About one in three keeps coming back — which I take as the loveliest kind of compliment.
Before all of this, I worked for years as an experience designer. So when I plan a class, workshop or retreat, I'm thinking about every layer of it — the candlelight, the warmth of the room, the props lovingly set up before you arrive, the thread of philosophy and storytelling woven underneath the movement. My aim is for every experience to feel a little retreaty, a little contemplative, and a lot like coming home.
What I hope to bring you
Yoga really opened up for me when I realised it was beyond the poses. A small handful of my teachers offered something more — a philosophical thread, a question, a small piece of ancient wisdom that made me think more carefully about how I was approaching my life. That is the thing I most love bringing into the room.
It's part of what makes yoga different from, say, pilates. Pilates is wonderful for what it is — body training, beautifully done. Yoga, taught well, is body and examined life. While we're moving, breathing, stretching and resting the body, we're also doing a little life stock-check together. A quiet reminder of the universal truths yoga has been offering for thousands of years. Chitta vritti nirodha, the old Sutras call it — the stilling of the fluctuations of the mind. That little settling that lets us see our lives a bit more clearly.
Sometimes it leads to a tiny shift in your day. Sometimes — dare I say — a bigger one.
You won't find me attempting arm balances or asking you to either. Little Glimmer is about meeting your body where it actually is today. We move with grace and gusto. We rest deeply. We finish with a little glimmer to take home with you — something to ponder for the rest of your week.
My hope is that you leave revitalised, rested, and properly nurtured — and a little more curious about what's possible in your own life.
Big love,
Em x
