Got a drab corner of the garden where nothing wants to grow?
Add a splash of interest and liven up a boring area with some brightly coloured ceramic flowering cacti pots handmade by YOU!
Unleash your creativity in a workshop designed for those who love quirky garden decor.
Under the expert guidance of Perth clay artist and sculptor, Carolyn Warren-Langford, you will learn how to hand-build with clay to create a flowering cacti pot, adding a splash of colour and fun to your succulent garden.
The flexibility of hand-building with clay offers endless opportunities for creating a variety of forms and is fun and relaxing.
Bring back some old memories and create some new ones, unwinding from your busy schedule, getting your hands into gorgeous clay, and creating something from a blob of mud you'll treasure forever!
After a short demonstration, you will receive one-on-one assistance to discuss and develop your ideas, as well as support throughout the session.
After your creations are completely dry, they will be fired in a kiln, glazed with your chosen glaze colour, and then refired in the kiln. They will be ready to be collected and taken home between four and six weeks after your session.
We will have a lunch break at 12:30 for 45 minutes.
Ages 15 (with parent) and over.
