What you'll do
Discover the mesmerising art of alcohol ink at this hands-on, mobile workshop in the Snowy Mountains, Far South Coast, and ACT and take home your own unique masterpiece!You'll start by learning about alcohol inks, how they move and the way they work together. You have the opportunity to complete an A3 piece, which can be later framed or cut up and used for bookmarks and cards.Under the guidance of your engaging teacher, they will show you how to create a 30cm aluminium clock artwork! You get to create this gorgeous round artwork using your choice of colours and design. All materials are supplied to have an amazing and creative time. Once the artwork is done, you will then insert a clock mechanism for a cool addition to your home.This workshop is perfect if you're looking for fun things to do in the Snowy Mountains or ACT with friends and makes for great birthday party ideas or classy hens party activities.At the end of the class, you can take home your beautiful creations and the confidence to continue experimenting with this fun medium.Please note: Products used contain denatured alcohol and 100 per cent Isopropyl. Participants who have been or may be affected by these products should consider using a filtered mask. P2 Unisafe disposable masks will be available on the day. You may also bring your own masks if desired. There is no way to avoid the strong smell of alcohol. For this reason, we do not recommend this class to pregnant women.

Set in the Snowy Mountains and servicing Canberra, Nikki Kable started painting as a way to work through her Post-natal depression. 10 years later, she is still in the studio creating abstract pieces using a range of mediums and surfaces. Now she is sharing her love of bright abstracts with you through a range of Alcohol Ink workshops. These inks are bright, bold and beautiful, bring happiness into any home displaying a piece. Nikki Kable...Inked offers four unique workshops projects including circle art, plant pots, clocks and jewellery. Private and public workshops available in the ACT, far south coast and Snowy mountains NSW.
