• 2/5 from Chiara Galmacci, attended Sep 2026: Idk I was expecting a class but it ended up being a few people trying to create something nice with clay. The teachers were not paying much attention, they just handed us a paper with instructions and some tools. The location was not the best as well: the Irish pub was so crowded that we couldn't even hear each other talking. Sorry but I wouldn't recommend it.

Teacher left half way due to boyfriend having an accident, which is fine but felt like we could have just bought your own clay and played with clay it yourself. Arrived teacher did not introduce herself, I thought she was a friend of a friend doing the clay class. There was a red rooster table mat with reused blue wash cloth that looked old and haggard and a chunk of clay on the table. Definitely not worth the money.

This one seemed poor value for money as there was no guidance or instruction, we were just given a lump of clay and told to do whatever we liked. For two hours! There was a hand out of some ideas and techniques but really we would have been better just doing this at home with our own craft shop clay. Disappounting

Resources were well set out and generous. It was a very positive event at a bust time of year- perfect to relax and get in touch with our creative side. Really showed we all have talent!!!!

• 5/5 from Anastasia Gavilan, attended Feb 2024: I took my boyfriend and myself to the Thai Mudgee Clay class for a date. It was great and very therapeutic to sit quietly and work with clay. We have some experience in different mediums of art, including clay, so it wasn't difficult to get into it. However, since there wasn't too much structure to the class (not a criticism), newbies may struggle. I thought it was great value for money, however, the people on our table and I all agreed that being provided with some water for our clay would be useful from the start. Other than that, all materials needed were appropriately provided to us. Our teacher was lovely!

The food and drinks we were able to purchase from the venue were a great added bonus. Overall, we had a lovely night and got to walk away feeling very proud of our new clay creations.

All materials were supplied and there was a great selection of suggestions for clay sculptures we could make or choose our own. It was a great night and I came away with a little clay dragon. It was great value for money and we were very happy and would recommend to anyone thinking of doing something a little different.
