You took us on a journey from the basics of what you require to continue watercolour painting at home right through to a finished painting. Learning the basic painting techniques and then creating our own reference sheet for use at home. Working with the colour wheel and ideas for exploring how water colours work on their own and when combined. Mixing the paint to obtain different values. Amazing how many values from the darkest to the lightest of a colour you would get just by using water? Finally putting it all together by guiding us through the process to create a mountain landscape. No need to remember everything as it is presented in a workbook to take home. This is a perfect workshop for anyone interested in watercolour painting. You don’t need to be an artist but just be happy to go with the flow and give it a go.

My passion is showing woman how creative activities like colouring, watercolour painting and art journaling can help to manage stress and anxiety to improve their mental health.As a mum, I know how little time we make for ourselves especially when it comes to taking care of our mental health. My aim is to help you gain a better understanding of the importance of nurturing creativity and why your mental health matters.The joy of art is in the process but if the process is labour intensive and overwhelming you might give up before you even got started. I have curated three very popular art activities and tweaked and simplified the tools and techniques to make the process quick and easy to complete in a short amount of time, relatively mess free yet satisfying enough for the passionate creative.I am delighted to share these tried and tested techniques with you, so that you can enjoy your creative time and the benefits of it without adding extra stress and work to your already busy day.
