Come along to our watercolour workshop for beginners in Melbourne and enjoy a relaxed evening of creativity!
Learn the basic aspects of creating beautiful illustrations with watercolours, such as transparency levels, water control, gradients, colour theory, and how to use the brush with greater control to achieve fine details.
Once you have understood the basics, it's time to learn some expert tricks by mixing the watercolours with other materials to achieve interesting effects!
Finally, you will get the chance to create a complex illustration applying the techniques you liked the most. You will be guided by a professional artist and in a relatively short time you can take home a watercolour artwork you’re proud of!

What to bring
If you choose not to add on our supplies when you book, you should bring:
  • Water colour paints in a range of colours
  • Water colour brushes (different sizes, round brushes size 0, 2, 4, 8)
  • Water colour paper (smooth finish 300gsm, 12 sheets, A4 or A3)
  • Drawing pencil and eraser
