Then the demonstration & clear directive encouraged us to jump in & enjoy the process. Tania was kind & supportive throughout. I stayed for the whole day, two sessions. I was given this voucher for Christmas (I have a big interest in art but I've never picked up a paintbrush beyond the old primary school efforts). As a complete beginner the class is great - accessible, challenging, informative and very easygoing and immensely enjoyable. Tania is an excellent teacher, passionate about her work, she goes above and beyond to make people comfortable and is very approachable for questions/tips. She sends out all the info you need before the class so there's no last-minute rush. The studio is lovely and light and comfortable. I left this class and went straight to buy some materials and spent the afternoon painting at home, and I'm looking now at her longer series of lessons to keep practicing my new skills - that's how fun this was! Highly recommended

The tutorials are nice and descriptive and there is constant support for the absolutely lovely teacher. It was a very welcoming environment to ask questions and chat about technique or any issues. I went in with a little bit of water colour/art experience and still found it very fun and informative myself. Plenty to do and you get to walk away with a stack of resources, ideas and a piece of art. It was great! I got so engrossed in my work that i totally forgot about my cup of tea! Very mindful indeed, a few hours of productive but quiet time to just do something fun with no expectations.

We learned so much about the techniques and practical knowledge of using watercolour before working on an art piece, so I felt like I was well set up and had the tools to enjoy working on the painting.
