  • 5/5 from Stephanie Hydal, attended Oct 2025: My husband and I had a blast at the steel art session. I never imagined I'd ever do any welding, so learning a bit and having the time to play around was super fun. Once we were shown the basics, we were given a box of scraps and were just left to do our thing - we each made a piece and then made a piece together. It was relaxing, creative fun and I highly recommend doing it as a "date night" or with a friend.

  • 5/5 from Christine Belcher, attended Feb 2024: I had been wanting to see if I could do welding. The teacher Costa was wonderful explained all the safety rules before we started and how all the equipment worked. We then learnt how to weld. Costa explained the techniques and how to change your techniques to improve and instilled you with confidence I was able to make a small metal statue from scrap material. It was the best class I have attended in many many years. I will definitely be doing more classes. Thank you Costa

  • 5/5 from Jessie Channell, attended Dec 2023: Great class! Coster our teacher was fabulous. He showed us the basics then gave us free reign to create what we wanted. His method was learn by doing, giving us tips and tricks along the way which is much better than excessive time spent on theory. 100% recommend!
  • 5/5 from Joanne Roadhouse, attended Oct 2023: My husband and I attended the welding for beginners class for our 11th anniversary. Traditionally known as the ‘steel year’ I thought this class was well suited for a gift to him. Coster, our teacher was the best We arrived pretty late due to a crash on the freeway, Coster made sure we got all our time paid for and more, which we didn’t expect at all He made the lesson fun and informative. He was so pleased that we were happy and laughing during the class, and in his words ‘art is at its best when it brings a smile’. So true! Thank you Coster.
  • 5/5 from Marcelle Langley, attended Sep 2023: Coster was a very knowledgeable teacher. He ensured we all understood the basics of how to achieve a good weld before unleashing us to our own creative devices. I thoroughly enjoyed this class and have a new profound respect for the skill of welding as well as steel as a medium for art.
  • 5/5 from Matthew Rowston, attended Sep 2023: We had a great time with Coster and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Would highly recommend this class to all.
  • 5/5 from Asia Lux, attended Sep 2023: So, we're never going to be welders, but we were such a mess and laughed so hard for so long Would recommend having a vague idea of what you can put together with nuts and bolts mainly. That took up the most time. Staring at bins of bolts was a challenge for my other half. Would suggest printing out photos of what other participants have done in the past and pin them to a board somewhere in the workshop Would be nice. Instructions we good. Equipment was daunting. Went as a couple and you cant really do much together because the work spaces are appropriately set up for one person per workstation. That's our ignorance there. But we navigated ourselves around it. Behold! The most "what is it?" Creation! He is now our toolbox mascot
  • 5/5 from Daniel Wheat, attended Sep 2023: "Steel" Wedding Anniversary. My wife and I had a great time celebrating our 11th year of marriage. Coster was great and very patient with us. He took us through everything we needed to know, we never felt rush and we all had a great time. I love that we were able to take our new skills and make something to remember the night. It was an awesome experience!
  • 5/5 from Gareth Bamford, attended Sep 2023: Costa was brilliant and so much fun - never thought we would enjoy this as much as we did …. Creativity flowed in the most uncreative of us … brilliant class love it - wish more were available on a Saturday
  • 5/5 from Natasha d'Souza, attended Jul 2023: This was such a great introduction to welding which my partner and I both loved so much we want to get our own welding machine. Costa is a great teacher, explained all the safety aspects thoroughly, guiding us through as we made our own art pieces. Who would have thought welding could be so easy and artistic. Will look at doing more classes with this teacher.
  • 5/5 from David Paine, attended Jul 2023: Coster was brilliant and very happy to help ensure my son and I got the most out of his class. We both had a blast.

  • 5/5 from Mariska Nell, attended Jun 2023: The Steel Art Class for Beginners was a transformative journey for me as a novice welder. Guided by an exceptional instructor who was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly patient, I learned the basics of welding while creating a captivating French Bulldog sculpture that captured the essence of my own puppy. This class provided a solid foundation, with comprehensive explanations of techniques and safety measures. The hands-on approach and the instructor's guidance ensured that I grasped each step with confidence. The highlight was undoubtedly the project itself, where I was encouraged to infuse my own creativity into my sculpture. The supportive and collaborative atmosphere among fellow students added to the overall experience. I left the class feeling accomplished, inspired, and eager to continue exploring this captivating medium. If you're a beginner seeking to delve into welding, I highly recommend this class for an unforgettable and enriching experience.
