  • 5/5 from Sam Dunn, attended Apr 2025: Came for an astract oil painting class with my girlfriend for an anniversary present. Shannon was able to provide good instruction and value to my girlfriend a more experienced hobbyist in oil painting, simultaneously while guiding me, someone who was completely unexperienced. It was fun learning oil painitng and both of us learnt much and got alot of value from the class.
  • 5/5 from Mary Hewitt, attended Apr 2025: A great balance of teaching and letting you develop your canvas on your own :) looking forward to painting more with Shannon!
  • 5/5 from Jan R Exeter, attended Jan 2025: It was great, I really liked Shannon relaxed and helpful personality. I am very interested and motivated to do another painting at home and then maybe come back for another lesson. Thank you a most enjoyable and friendly 2 hours. Jan Exeter
  • 5/5 from Feni Bembridge, attended Jan 2025: Shannan is so patient and accomodating - evertything is possible! Just the right amount of tuition and independent painting with support. I am thrilled with the painting I completed. Shannan makes the environment pleasant tand the refreshments were most welcome too! Thanks so much. Feni and Pat
  • 5/5 from Lily Stieler, attended Jan 2025: Exceptional teacher. I'll definitely be back.
  • 5/5 from Megan, attended Dec 2024: This class was fun and interesting and I learnt heaps. We got to choose what we wanted to paint either from our own ideas or from the works of the teacher. There was a good choice of drinks and the cheese was yummy. Being abstract helps cover any mistakes and it's all about having a great time, not the finished work and we all had a great time with a lovely teacher. It's perfect for everyone inc any age, singles, groups, couples, families, with experience or with none.
  • 5/5 from Georgia Quick, attended Oct 2024: Shannon explain to us thoroughly the process and guided us along the way throughout the workshop, I was really happy with the relaxed atmosphere and how easy it was to pick up all the tips and tricks, I will definitely come back to do more classes and recommend to my friends
  • 5/5 from Lesley Singers, attended Aug 2024: I booked this oil painting class for my adult daughter and I to attend whilst I was in Perth WA visiting her. Prior to booking I had been a little disappointed that the session would only be for two hours as it was a special event for us. That concerned me but I still booked thinking we would just have to make the best of it. I found the studio well stocked for the several creative experiences that are held there and the artist, Shannon was welcoming, and very inspiring. She gave us a very good introduction to using oils and was making sure we had full grasp of how to use them, how she used them, techniques etc. She was excellent. Full on, telling you everything you need to know and giving you your monies worth and her best. Then came to your own painting which I just loved doing after her intro. I felt so relaxed and uninhibited due to her have a go, no such thing as mistakes attitude, and I truly enjoyed myself just brushing the colours onto the canvas. I even liked the result at the end which was a bonus. Wonderful experience in all and I will book again next time I’m over from Scotland.
  • 5/5 from Heather Whitebrook, attended Apr 2024: It was all great! The studio is easy to find, lots of parking. Shannan is wonderfully welcoming and the space is perfect for learning and experimentation. We were shown techniques and how to use different tools, with support and guidance as needed throughout the workshop. There were nibbles, bubbles and emerging talent and lots of laughter, it was a fun 4 hours that flew by. I loved it! ️️
  • 5/5 from Keiron Dallman, attended Dec 2023: Shannen made us feel welcome in her art studio. She was friendly and helpful great morning
  • 5/5 from Karin Dobrowsky, attended Mar 2023: It was a lovely class. Well led and all the equipment needed was supplied. We will do this again
  • 5/5 from Claire Cooke, attended Feb 2023: This was my first attempt at abstract art. My teacher guided me with confidence and compassion. Both of which were greatly appreciated! Good quality materials were provided which also enhanced the experience.
