In this semi-guided class, you’ll learn how to design and paint your very own ceramic piece with a ceramic painting pen. No experience required!
Our friendly instructor will guide you and explain how to use the ceramic painting pen in the first 5 minutes. Then, for the next 40 minutes, you'll get to explore your creativity and make something truly special that you can cherish or gift to a loved one!
By the end of the class, you can take home your ceramic piece on the same day.
About the ceramic painting pen:
  • The ceramic painting pen is designed with creativity and convenience in mind:
  • Vibrant colours: A rich variety of hues with a smooth, consistent ink flow for effortless drawing.
  • Flexible use: The fibre tip provides excellent pressure resistance and works well at various angles.
  • Easy fixes: Mistakes? No problem! Simply erase with alcohol before setting the colour.
  • Durable design: Once baked at 160°C for 25 minutes, the colour becomes permanent and withstands washing at 50°C, including in a dishwasher.
  • Safe and non-toxic: Made without heavy metals or harmful substances, these pens are safe for kids and for use on food-related items.

Recent reviews of Semi-guided Pottery Painting Workshop

  • 3/5 from Lucinda Spiliopoulos, attended Feb 2026: It was fun as we got to have freedom with our designs and the pens made it easier. However we didn’t have many options in terms of ceramics and also some pen colours weren’t working which limited our designs. Also we had to go looking for assistance once they had come out of the oven as no one was in the room to assist
  • 5/5 from Kayleigh Cerritelli, attended Nov 2025: What a fantastic experience!! Christine was wonderful and friendly and really helped make our experience easy and fun. We will most certainly be back to try another class/workshop. My only wish was that there was more ceramic options available to choose from!
  • 5/5 from Malina Chanthalavanh, attended Nov 2025: Becky is lovely and accommodating. The shop is peaceful and we felt that there was a focus on mindfulness. We enjoyed our time here. We used ceramic pens to draw designs on selected ceramic pieces.
  • 5/5 from Julia Mari Licup, attended Sep 2025: Our 13/09 fridge magnet painting instructor was very funny and helped us out a lot! We painted a Vincent Van Gogh magnet and a Girl with a Cat magnet, it was altogether very peaceful and fun. Coffee was also delicious, and we got cute handmade rings after class as well :) Thank you for the great session!
