- 5/5 from Clare Hopkins, attended Dec 2025: I absolutely loved Belinda’s class & my daughter & her partner both agreed that this was “ the best Xmas present ever!” Belinda is a warm & friendly person who patiently demonstrated then assisted us to make our own books!… all the materials are provided & there was an amazing array of beautiful papers and other materials to select from to make our books unique to each of us. All in a fabulous studio space in Byron. Looking forward to making more books! Thank you, Belinda!
Your teacher
I have always felt the power of a blank page and throughout my life have continually collected blank books, journals, notebooks... So, It was natural for me to discover the world of handmade books. I have been making journals and Sketchbooks for 10 years now and it is still a huge passion for me. I have sold hundreds of books online and at Artisan Markets.Using paper from around the world, and different techniques, old and new, I am dedicated to the idea these traditions should be passed on.If you are like me, a paper lover, then I hope to help you find the satisfaction I feel when making a handmade book.I work and teach out of my home studio in Byron Bay as well as other venues.
