A Cup of Christmas: Candle Making Workshop

2.5 hours Location Collingwood Class size 1 to 20 (public classes), 12 to 40   $80

Give a little old-fashioned charm to your Christmas this year with a hands-on candle-making workshop that’s all about good scents, second-hand treasures and making something lovely by hand.

We’ll be turning thrifted teacups and other curious little vessels into one-of-a-kind candles, ready to bring a warm glow to your home or make a thoughtful, handmade Christmas gift.

You’ll learn the basics of candle making, explore a selection of festive and seasonal fragrances, and choose your favourite scent before getting hands-on with melting, measuring and pouring your own candle. With an assortment of pre-loved teacups and vessels to choose from, every candle will have its own character; from delicate floral china to delightfully mismatched finds.

No two will be quite alike, and that’s rather the point.

Whether you’re looking for a creative afternoon, a festive catch-up with friends, or an excuse to make something beautiful instead of buying another thing off the shelf, this workshop is a lovely way to slow down and get into the Christmas spirit.

No experience necessary. All materials, fragrances and equipment are provided. Just bring yourself and a willingness to get a little crafty.

A little vintage, a little festive, and a whole lot of candlelit charm.

Please note: This class requires at least 5 students to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of students, we'll cancel the class and fully refund you and inform you via email, so please watch your email a few days prior to the class
