Hand Building with Clay Workshop

In our hand building clay workshop at Glaze It Studio, you will learn the art of creating beautiful ceramics with your own two hands.If you've never worked with clay before, don't worry! Our friendly and experienced teacher will guide you every step of the way, making the process fun and engaging. You'll be amazed at what you can achieve with a bit of creativity and some basic hand-building techniques.During the two-hour hand-building workshop, our teacher will take you through the fundamentals of hand building: pinching, coiling, and attaching. Together, you will make a bowl or mug, and in the remaining time, with your new skills, you can make an additional two pieces!You will have the opportunity to decorate with underglaze paints. There will also be some examples available for inspiration if you're stuck for ideas.Your pieces will be left with us to dry, fire, be clear glazed, and fired again. This process will take approximately 4-5 weeks.Immerse yourself in this fun and creative experience and leave with your handmade pottery creations to proudly display in your home.
