In this four-week course, you will learn different dessert decorating skills—from donuts to cupcakes and cookies.
Over the four weeks, your child will gain confidence and be able to produce beautiful creations, led by one of Perth's best cake teachers, Carli!
This class will run on Wednesdays from 1-2.30pm over four weeks.
Course overview:
  • Wednesday 2 Sept 2026 - Decorate bear cupcakes
  • Wednesday 9 Sept 2026 - Decorate monster donuts
  • Wednesday 16 Sept 2026 - Decorate burger cookies
  • Wednesday 23 Sept 2026 - Decorate farm animals 3D and 2D
By the end of the course, you can take home your delicious creations, as well as new buttercream skills and confidence!
Note: This is a drop-and-leave activity. Due to the space of the mobile studio, there is no room for parents to stay. Unfortunately, no exceptions can be made. You are welcome to stay until your child is settled in.

Hi I'm Carli and I'm a cake teacher.
I grew up in Perth, in a house where my mum made delicious treats every weekend from scratch.
I’m talking vanilla slice, chocolate eclairs, fairy cakes, cinnamon scrolls. Really, I could go on.
I got diagnosed with a nut allergy at 19, and it kind of flipped my dessert world upside down. I knew I would have to learn to bake for myself to enjoy safe treats and satisfy that sweet tooth.
My dream became a reality when I studied at TAFE and ran a successful home baking business for many years, baking safe treats for all occasions. I then discovered a love of teaching. I’d once planned to study a dip Ed and go into teaching so I guess it makes sense, but wowee, do I get a buzz out of it!
I have a passion for food and I LOVE sharing my baking tips with others so they too can create delicious memories with loved ones. I’m not sure there’s anything better than sitting down and savouring some home-baked treats, so I want to pass that on to as many people as I can.
I am also about making baking easy and fitting in around your life/health/kids. Baking doesn’t need to be overly complicated or mean needing more tools that you know what to do with. I’m all about simplicity.
