Spice up your child’s school holiday with a vibrant, hands-on art experience in Port Melbourne! Join us from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day (half-day bookings also available) for a creative journey filled with colour, texture and imagination. No prior experience needed — just a big imagination and a love for making things.
Our dynamic program invites kids to explore a wide range of artistic styles and materials through guided workshops and self-led stations. From wearable fashion and miniature food to glowing planets and prehistoric creatures, each day opens the door to a new artistic adventure.
By the end of each session, your child will walk away with artworks they’re proud of — and a head full of fresh ideas.
Style & Sparkle (Fashion Day)
Step into a day of colour, character and wearable art. From expressive fashion sketches to designing wild accessories and glowing face art, this day is all about self-expression and creative flair.
Art in Motion (Art & Sport Day)
Where movement meets masterpiece! Kids will sculpt swimmers in action, mould their own chocolate champion medals, and sketch athletes mid-stride using dynamic pose stencils. Full of energy, teamwork and creative competition.
Mirror, Mirror (Art & Science Day)
Where art meets discovery! Kids will uncover the secrets of symmetry, paint their own reflection, and play with mirror tricks that multiply, bend and surprise. Full of kaleidoscope colour and mind-bending fun.
Tastes Like Art (Tasting Day)
A day where food becomes the muse! Kids will paint portraits using spices, mould colourful chocolate forms, and create miniature meals using sculpting materials. Full of sensory surprises and creative fun.
Now You See It… (Illusions Day)
This playful art day is full of illusions, tricks and surprises. Kids will explore glow-in-the-dark artworks, mirror symmetry, and optical sketches that make you look twice (and maybe flip the page upside down!).
Dino Dimensions (Dinosaur Day)
Travel back to the time of dinosaurs with art that roars. Kids will sketch ancient beasts, sculpt dino forms, and create glowing prehistoric scenes that bring the Jurassic world to life.
Each day includes:

  • 4/5 from Charlotte Petitprez Koscher, attended Oct 2026: Great activity for kids during the holiday. The lady welcoming us was lovely but I thought the lady sitting in the room waiting for all the kids to arrive could interact with them more, especially if they are shy when arriving. The rest of the day went well and my daughter had a great time. Thank you :)

  • 5/5 from Kim Bates, attended Sep 2025: * Occasion: School holiday program * What was learnt: My son learnt to do art with different mediums (i.e. clay, glow in the dark paints) * What were your teachers like?: My son was very upset when being dropped off as he was the only boy in attendance (this is a big deal when you're 7!) and begged me to take him home. Lily and Ollie were very welcoming and comforting, inviting him to see the activities in each of the different areas, getting him to help set-up and playing some music he liked, which really helped to calm him down. I called later in the day to see if he wanted to be picked up, and he said "No!", and almost hung up on me so he could get back to the fun. For someone who wanted to go straight home upon arrival, my son came home asking if he could go back for a full day the following week! Many thanks Lily and Ollie. * the venue and materials: The venue was well set out and the range of activities (diversity in materials available to work with) was fantastic. * What did you like the most?: My son enjoyed all of the activities. Getting to do so many different things in one day kept him really engaged.
  • 5/5 from Anell Meyer, attended Sep 2025: The Into the Wild Class was a fantastic experience for our kids! The instructors were warm, patient, and incredibly creative. Highly recommended for families looking for a creative, educational, and joyful experience that children will talk about for weeks afterward!

  • 5/5 from Francesca Orsini, attended Jul 2025: My two daughters recently attended the School Holiday Art Workshop for the second time — I booked them in again after their first session simply because they had such a wonderful experience. They had so much fun, learned a lot, and came home with a variety of creative pieces they were really proud of. The occasion was the school holidays, and this workshop turned out to be the perfect way for them to spend some of that time. The teachers were absolutely fantastic — kind, fun, always available, and truly inspirational. They created an atmosphere that made the kids feel confident and excited to express themselves. The venue was lovely — it genuinely felt like being in a real artist's studio, and the materials provided were high-quality and well thought out. What I appreciated most was seeing how much my kids enjoyed it and how eager they were to come back. They’ve already asked when the next workshop will be!
