Introduction to Aboriginal Art Workshop

Create your own Aboriginal art in Adelaide!

2 hours Class size 6 to 30 guests       $55 (PayPal Pay in 4 available)

Immerse yourself in the rich artistic traditions of Adelaide's First Nation Kaurna People. This hands-on workshop invites you to explore the stories, symbols, and techniques that have been passed down through generations of Kaurna artists and knowledge holders.
Guided by members of the Aboriginal community, you’ll gain insight into the cultural meanings behind traditional motifs, learn about the deep connection between art and Country, and create your own artwork inspired by these timeless practices.
No previous art experience is needed—just an open mind and a willingness to learn. By the end of the session, you’ll take home a piece of art that reflects not only your creativity but also a deeper appreciation for Kaurna culture and the living history of Aboriginal art.
Highlights:
  • Hear first-hand cultural stories and guidance from Aboriginal people
  • Discover the symbolism and significance of traditional Aboriginal art forms
  • Create your own meaningful artwork to take home
  • Support and celebrate the living culture of the Kaurna people
Come join us for a meaningful creative journey and connect with the oldest continuous culture on earth, right here in the heart of Adelaide.
